Liz has had a long standing passion for photography since her mid-teens with a natural photojournalistic style, telling a story through the power of images.

A year's sabbatical travelling the world in her mid-twenties took Liz's photography experience and interest to another level. As you can imagine, the landscapes and sights Liz encountered were diverse and awe-inspiring to photograph. However, it was here that Liz found herself naturally drawn to capture images of people in their own environment. Each portrait told its own unique story of identity, culture and the wonderment of the world, adding an extra dimension to Liz's photographic journal of her travel experiences.

It was becoming a mother of two children herself that made Liz realise her potential as a professional photographer and led Liz to where she is today.
"I was disappointed with the studio photography experience I had as a mother and the resulting pictures it gave of my children. The quality was great but something was missing and I craved emotion and memories of true to life situations. Quite simply, I wanted a timeless, heirloom of evocative images that preserved my children as they grew. From those first fleeting moments of a sleepy baby with tiny fingers and toes, those first uncertain and fragile steps, smiles and tantrums, the innocence of childhood through to the intrigue of teenage life and excitement of coming of age."
Realising her own images captured the very essence of all that she and others around her desired, Liz Snedker Photography was born.
